It’s not up yet, but here’s a first-hand look at it:
http://www.edinboro.edu/home/index2.dot

I myself think that it looks pretty good. Much much better than the old website, but the problem remains that every single link sends you back to the old design from, what, 2003?
Eh, it still works, but the problem is most Edinboro students only use SCOTS and BlackBoard, but Edinboro decides to hide these tools. Every year teachers ask if students know how to find these tools and students are always confused. It’s fairly simple, but if it’s one of the main functions of the website then it should be EXTREMELY clear. You can make the site look as pretty as you want, but if these things aren’t apparent, then it’s pointless.
Finding things using the library’s tools online should be made more simple, too.
Other than that, it looks great! If you personally have feedback Edinboro encourages you to send it via this link: http://surveys.edinboro.edu/homeredesign/homeredesign.htm
It is indeed a vast improvement over the current site. That being said, there’s a huge amount of wasted space taken up by the photo at the top…at least use that for marketing an event or admissions efforts or a cool academic program.
