Sorry it’s been a week or so without any update. Finals week has been tough on everyone this year. I, personally, would appreciate the old reading days back, and getting out a week later.
Either way- How about that Swine Flu?
If you have questions about it, Edinboro University put up a FAQ:
http://www.edinboro.edu/departments/ghering/swine-flu.dot
(Thanks to Scott for pointing this out)
The page is very informative, as you can see, humans cannot catch the Swine Flu. Huh? Also, check out that adorable little pig on the bottom of the page!
Everyone knows by now that it’s not that big of a deal, and that the media is playing it up. Ironically enough, the media itself are the people pointing this out.
How do you feel about the Swine Flu? Do YOU feel safe?
I’m sick of hearing about this swine flu. It could become a pandemic, but goodness – 24 hour coverage on it. What are they trying to start here, mass hysteria?
I’m more interested in the psychology behind the decision making in flying Air Force One over NYC without alerting the citizens… or even the mayor.
p.s. I’m really curious if I know you or not Mr. Yourboro. Your cynicism and wit seem strangely familiar.
I can assure you that you don’t. Also, when Yourboro started up the idea was for a collective of people to write, but the only problem was trying to figure out how to make multiple users. Since then I’ve figured it out, but haven’t put it into effect yet, so more than one person can log into the yourboro account and make an anonymous post.
I’m thinking about making other users able to contribute and voice out with whatever they want, if you would be at all interested, lemme know
This was confusing.
Basically more than one person DOES log into this account and writes. But I’d like for each one to have their own name, and I might do that in the near future.
The university changed its cute swine flu page to a more professional one:
