At Yourboro, we firmly believe on posting only important events.. You know, the kind you would WANT to participate in. As in..
Edinboro Outdoor Movies Summer Event Calander!

These are the movies set to be shown outside of the University Center. The line-up isn’t soooo bad, huh?
6/14/09 – Brian Regan
at the Warner Theater
I think this kicks off his 2009 tour? I don’t see any tickets for Pittsburgh or anywhere else, looks like he starts it off in Erie! Though he’s admitably been slipping these past few years, his standup can still be hilarious. As long as you see him live, the spontinaity is still there, and at the low price of 35 dollars, you may as well see a popular comedian go down the drain. Sad, but he’s still one of the most talented comedians out there. He can still get by the entire act without swearing!
Alice Cooper
Sept. 18th, 2009
Warner Theater
Singer, songwriter and musician whose career spans more than four decades. With a stage show that features guillotines, electric chairs, fake blood, boa constrictors and baby dolls, Cooper has drawn equally from horror movies, vaudeville, and garage rock to pioneer a grandly theatrical and violent brand of heavy metal that was designed to shock

I like Brian Regan a lot too but I agree, he seems like he’s losing it
Not a lot of good comedians around these days.

There will be music at the Three Rivers Art Festival in Pittsburgh. The Black Keys are playing there June 5th, and the next day Zee Avi is opening for the main show.

Just a few thoughts…
Peabody’s in Cleveland is a horrible, hole-in-the-wall venue. Not worth it – no matter who the band is.
And as far as Buffalo goes, you forgot the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center! It’s on the Rochester side of the city. It’s the same kind of venue as the Post Gazette Pavillion, and is about the same distance from Edinboro! It’s got just as many big names this year, many of whom are traveling to/from Pittsburgh right around the same time.
Find it on Live Nation

Can any venue really be THAT bad? Well, I guess it’s possible.
Yeah, I saw that Buffalo DID have some people coming to it who are also in Pittsburgh, but the distance is practically equal, and didn’t feel like re-writing it again, though I may go back tomorrow and add them.
Thanks for the heads up!
