The Subway at 210 Waterford St was cited with 2 non-critical food violations on June 19.
How
isn’t
John’s
cited?!
I love John’s. I would rather eat there than most places in Edinboro. But come on..
Ever look at their ovens? The corners of the windows? The ceiling?

Now you don’t have to

To give John’s bathroom credit, it’s a lot better now than it was a few years ago. And hell, nobody is going to cite John’s. It’s just too good.

Right. The bathrooms aren’t too bad, they have a charm (just like the building itself might be the most charming building in Edinboro)
But it should totally be a little bit less spider- inhabited.

you should show up at closing time. Seriously. Those workers bust heir ass to get that place incredibly clean.
Actually showing up when they are cleaning is a bad idea. Show up when they open….its still clean.
Also, to be fair, the windows are no where near the food, the ovens are actually cleaner than Pizza hut’s and the ceiling, well, didn’t it just get replaced?

I calls em like I sees em, and every time I’m in Johns and I accidentally look behind the ovens I almost gag

Because they cook the pizza behind the ovens right? The best restaurants that always get A+ from the health inspectors all have that kind of stuff in their kitchens. As long as the prep and cooking surfaces are clean and nothing is an actual code violation, what difference does it make? The thing with John’s is that it’s all out for display to any inquiring minds. Hey if it’s good enough for the Health Inspector, it’s good enough for me.

Don’t get me wrong, I love their food. I eat it all the time. It’s just the spider to human ratio in that places gives me the creeps

Maybe it’s the spiders that gives their pizza that amazing flavor. I don’t know, I’m not a pizza shop owner. But whatever it is that they do, they’d better not change a thing.
