Mercyhurst junior to skate in Olympics for second time
Who cares if this isn’t related to Edinboro? This is awesome.
The last time that Meghan skated in the Olympics in 2006, she won gold. Nice.
When Meghan Agosta turned 6 and gave up figure skating to pursue hockey in her hometown of Ruthven, Ontario, she told her dad that some day she would wear Canada’s maple leaf sweater in the Olympics.
That dream came true in 2006, when Agosta helped the women’s team win gold in Torino, Italy.
Agosta will celebrate her 23rd birthday today with Team Canada at the Winter Olympics’ opening ceremonies in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Canada opens preliminary round play Saturday against Slovakia at 8 p.m.
Agosta is taking what would have been her senior year off from Mercyhurst to concentrate on the Olympics. She has been centralized in Calgary, Alberta, since August with the Canadian national program.

To counterbalance kind of being a dick earlier to the Edinboro Film Series, everyone should go and check this out when they play it March 4th (Doucette Hall room 119):

It’s definitely one of the most entertaining documentaries I’ve ever see.
Fully support this.
Don’t forget. There’s a potential Donkey Kong kill screen coming up… if you want to watch.
