Why don’t you listen to this while you wait

For the past week, it’s been hard for Jesse Stormer to stay positive.

“I’ve been trying to find that silver lining, and I’ve struggled to find one, so I decided to make one.”

Soon, Stormer and others will be selling bracelets in memory of their friend Sheldon Harmon, who was killed the Nov. 11 crash on Draketown Rd.

The bracelets will read “WWSD“, as in “What Would Sheldon Do?“.

All proceeds from the bracelet sales will go towards new animation equipment placed in memory of Harmon.  EUP’s Animation Club is backing the fundraiser.

Stormer hopes that the bracelets will help bring about a safer, more responsible university community.

“When people are having a hard day, or facing a difficult decision, they can look at their wrists and ask themselves, what would Sheldon do?”

Students should expect to see the bracelets being sold around campus after Thanksgiving break.

It looks like the Konami code has invaded Facebook..

The Konami Code, known in Japan as the Konami Command (コナミコマンド Konami Komando^?), is a cheat code that appears in many Konami video games,^[1] although the code also appears in some non-Konami games.^[2] The code was first used in the1986 release of Gradius for the Nintendo Entertainment System^[3] but was made famous in North America in the NES version of Contra, for which it was also dubbed the “30 Lives Code”. While pausing the game or during the title screen, the player could press the following sequence of buttons on the game controller:

Looks like someone found out that the Konami code works on facebook and it has spread through everyone’s feeds like wildfire! Hence:

When you enter the code, you don’t get thirty lives or any sort of powerup. Just a bunch of annoying circles and a lens flare. Then it won’t go away until you refresh or change the page. Yes, it works, and yes it is pretty fun.

The only important site that I can really catch off of the Konami Code site is Digg.com, but I can’t get the code to work for it, can anyone else?

Here stands Grambling University’s Recreational Facilities on a beautiful sunny day..

Everything is peaceful in Grambling, ain’t no-one givin’ no-body no trouble.

Here, we study possibly the most peaceful of all campus facilities, the recreational facility. Admire its beautiful shrubbery, solid brickwork and well-crafted.. door.. Wait, do you see something?

OH GOD! What.. WHAT is happening to our beautiful town of Grambling? What is going on, I’m.. I’m completely bewilder–

Well, “Do” is a better slogan than the one Edinboro had while Pogue was still President here.

Which was nothing. We didn’t have a slogan.
